Welcome to the Centennial High School Band Booster website!


The CHS Band Boosters support the Spartan Regiment, both the students and the directors. This support comes from both financial sources and, just as important, in volunteering our time.

Board Nominations:

We are now accepting nominations for all officer positions for the 2012-2013 year. For a list of these positions, please see the "Contact Us" page. All officers serve one year terms, and all positions are open every year. You are eligible to serve in any of these roles if you student is enrolled in the CHS band for the upcoming year. The only position with a qualification is the office of President, and that qualification is that the nominee must have served in one of the other roles for at least one year prior to being President. Elections will be held during the spring meeting, held in conjunction with the spring concert on May 18.

Items Needed:

 

In our second year, the Spartan Regiment has doubled in size. This fall (2012-2013), we anticipate an additional 50-60 students for a total approaching 180 students. We will also have our first seniors in 2012-2013. The following year (2013-2014), we anticipate more growth, and a band approaching 200+ students.


We will need several items, many of which will be used for several years. Below is a list of some of these items:

 

  • five gallon water coolers - blue. We have had six donated, we could use four to six more 
  • large ice chests (2-4)
  • 12 oz cups (used for game night meals)
  • cart(s) to carry those coolers, ice chests, and food items
  • bulk powder Gatorade, lemonade
  • gift cards for HEB, Sam's, etc - think food for summer camps, competitions


This list is by no means comprehensive... please feel free to contact us if you, or anyone you know, work with, etc. would like to contribute any of these, or other, items.
